SERP Scout is my first SEO Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Product

Date:

From an early age, I possessed a strong inclination to understand the mechanics of various systems. This inherent curiosity motivated my pursuit of a degree in Computing Engineering, subsequently leading to the establishment of grow-digital.gr and performance-marketing.gr, the initiation of a podcast, the development of numerous bespoke tools (e.g., custom scripts) for personal use, and other ventures.

My ambition to create was evident, although previously my creations served personal interests, recreational purposes, and primarily the educational benefit derived from the creative process.

The realm of technology has consistently garnered my admiration, particularly those individuals responsible for constructing technological products, whether software or technology-based businesses.

Identification of Challenges

Several months ago, I embarked on an endeavor to address two persistent challenges (amongst many within my professional domain) that I had considered for several years. These challenges pertain to Search Engine Optimization:

Competitor Tracking and Rankings: Sophisticated SEO tools incur considerable expenses. Many individuals, particularly those not affiliated with large organizations, are unable to allocate four to five thousand euros annually, or more, for basic search ranking performance insights. This represents a substantial impediment, as SEO accessibility should be universal.

Related Searches and People Also Asked: I have previously elaborated on the significance of Google’s Related Searches and People Also Asked results in SEO. For an extended duration, I sought a flexible and cost-effective solution to efficiently and reliably conduct keyword research while simultaneously extracting supplementary user search queries on Google.

Origin of Inspiration

Although more arduous, it is occasionally prudent to chart an independent course. Consequently, I integrated the aforementioned challenges with a longstanding personal objective: the creation of my own technology SaaS product aligned with my professional expertise.

While it had been several years since my last engagement with coding, database management, and API connectivity, I viewed it as an invigorating challenge to ascertain the developmental potential of a product, initially to address my own requirements and subsequently to assist colleagues encountering similar SEO challenges.
